Paid Survey Phone Applications

A few nights ago, on my quest for maximizing my survey money making experience, I downloaded several paying survey applications onto my iPhone 3S 8GB (hey, it was free). I have not had a lot of experience with them yet, but I thought I would share them with you. As I learn more about these applications and have done my first cash out or have decided to end my services with them, I will update my blog and let you know.

I like the idea of the survey applications for several reasons. Mostly I like that when we are traveling or when we are somewhere I can not access my laptop to do surveys, I still have another way to make a little cash. Plus, it is convenient because it is right there on my phone, which is almost always by my side. Another good thing about the application based surveys is that they offer a change of pace. They are visually appealing and offer a different and extremely easy way to fill out surveys. Also, they tend to be shorter than online based surveys. Finally, I like them because it is easy money!

MySurvey- this application I am quite familiar with. It is associated to one the online survey sites that I am actively involved in (currently on my second payout in a month and a half!) which I will be writing about in the next few weeks. The application can be linked to your account and it provides you with a few extra surveys every month that are not usually available online. It is an okay application, but they say there will be more surveys available soon, so it may become a more valuable assets in the next few months. Thus I will continue my usage for this application. You must go onto your online MySurvey account in order to cash out your reward points which is 1100 points per ten dollars. So far the pay outs on the application are minute.

Survey.com- this application also links with an online account. I have not yet opened it, but I do plan to so that I can give it a chance. But so far, the application has not proved itself too great, it keeps freezing and is not really giving me a chance to do any surveys because of this. You have to have a minimum of $7.50 to cash out through pay pal which is an odd amount, but smaller than many other survey sites. Each survey that I have seen so far pay out about 5 to 10 cents each, which is a very small amount in comparison to others. But it is possible that future surveys will pay out more, which is often the case.

Survey on the go seems to be a fairly decent paying application. The initial surveys pay out on average twenty-five cents, and the other surveys I have received pay at about one dollar a piece. It requires a balance of ten dollars before it pays out and mostly it asks questions on political and community issues, so it is a nice change from all the other stereotypical surveys.

SwagbucksTV is one of favorites for easy money! This is another application that is linked to an online survey site (swagbucks) that I will be writing a post about in the future. It is not one of my most favorite survey sites and it can take quite awhile before you have enough points to use to redeem anything. That is the best part about this application. You can just keep watching videos all day on your phone about things that actually interest you and get points for it! Just realize that these points are only worth a few cents.

My Interior Decorator.com has so far given me no surveys for me to even tell you of any pros or cons. I have not seen any minimum amount needed to cash out yet so there is one plus that I do know of. It appears to be linked to an online survey site as well, but I have not gotten that far in researching this one as of yet.

Thank you and please comment below on any survey applications that you know of and have used.

  2. Honestly, I'd rather do other kinds of surveys for money. Preferably online surveys. I don't have the time or the patience to be pushed around by scheduled phone calls, on a company's behalf, all while wasting my time when I don't even know when they'll call. I like the comfort of going to the store when I feel like it, for instance. Not waiting on them to finally call me so I no longer have to worry about missing their call so I can get on with my life. Online surveys are so much better than by phone. So much better.
